Mark’s expertise is rooted in his experience working in government for ten years and advising corporations on corporate strategy, particularly during transformative moments. As the Director of Communications and Corporate Affairs at First Data Corporation, he was instrumental in orchestrating their 2015 IPO, one of the largest of the year. Additionally Mark has experience working across the globe having been a principal advisor to one of the world's most notable businessmen and philanthropists.
Earlier in his career, Mark was a senior aide to Mayor Mike Bloomberg, working on two mayoral campaigns and Bloomberg’s 2020 presidential run. He led several successful legislative campaigns for New York City, enhancing public services and delivering taxpayer savings. In 2010, he managed a City Council campaign that resulted in a decisive 18-point victory. Immediately prior to his return to government, during the 2010 election cycle, Mark ran former New York City Mayor Ed Koch's final political effort of his career -- New York Uprising -- which sought to bring legislative reforms to New York State's government which was marred with corruption at the time. As a result of that effort Mark was named to the 40 under 40 list as a "rising star" in City & State New York, a leading publication focused on New York City and State Government.

Outside of his professional commitments, Mark volunteers as an EMT and is a passionate private pilot.
